From casual restaurants where you choose seafood straight from the tanks to more comfortable dining spaces for families, there are plenty of ways to enjoy seafood in Nha Trang. Restaurants differ in the seafood they serve, how prices are calculated, cooking styles and atmosphere. This guide covers nine places worth considering, with practical details to help you choose one that fits your plans.
Information was checked in August 2026. Prices, opening hours and seafood availability may change by day or season.

The restaurants below range from casual local spots around Cu Huan and Ngo Quyen to places with reservations and more clearly structured menus. For seafood sold by weight, use the prices below as a guide rather than a fixed budget. The final price depends on the species, size and daily supply.
| Restaurant | Area | Opening hours | Price guide | Good for |
| Thanh Suong Seafood | Tran Phu | 10:00–23:00 | Combos from VND 150,000/person; live seafood priced by type | Families and groups |
| Hanh Xuan Seafood | Cu Huan | 08:30–22:30 | Around VND 120,000-330,000 | Families, dinner |
| Ben Cang Seafood | Nguyen Tat Thanh | Around 10:00-22:00 | Around VND 180,000-450,000/person | Groups, choosing seafood from tanks |
| Hien Khuong Seafood | Nguyen Tat Thanh | Around 09:00-24:00 | Mainly priced by type and weight | Groups of friends, open-air dining |
| Bo Ke Quan | Cu Huan | 08:00–23:00 | Around VND 30,000-165,000/dish | Families, first-time visitors |
| Nha Toi Seafood | Ngo Quyen | 08:00–22:30 | Around VND 100,000-275,000 | Casual meals, small groups |
| 6 Ngo Sy Lien Seafood | Ngo Sy Lien | 10:00–22:00 | Around VND 35,000-275,000 | Budget dining, groups of friends |
| Moc Quan Seafood | Hong Bang | 10:30–22:30 | By dish or weight | Families, international visitors |
| Nha Trang Seafoods | Nguyen Thi Minh Khai | Around 08:30-22:00 | Around VND 45,000-495,000 | Families, groups, advance reservations |
Thanh Suong currently lists three official locations. Its branches at 15 Tran Phu and 9A Tran Phu are open from 10:00 to 23:00. A menu updated in July 2026 also shows group combos from around VND 150,000-180,000 per person. Prices for the other restaurants come from current listings or restaurant sources and should be checked again before ordering.
Thanh Suong works well for groups that want plenty of choice at one table. Its official website currently divides the seafood selection into prawns, crab, fish, squid and octopus, snails and other shellfish, with prices displayed at the restaurant.
There are also set menus for groups. The July 2026 menu includes combinations such as grilled prawns, oysters with cheese, grouper or cobia, razor clams and seafood soup.
Some older online listings still show previous Thanh Suong addresses. For directions, it is safer to use the restaurant's current information for its Tran Phu branches at numbers 15 and 9A.

Hanh Xuan is in the Cu Huan area, just north of Tran Phu Bridge. Current listings show it serving from morning until evening, with dishes such as mantis shrimp, grilled pen shell, oysters, squid and jellyfish salad appearing regularly in diner photos.
The setting feels more like a sit-down restaurant than a small roadside seafood stall. It can therefore work well for a longer meal with family or friends.
If you plan to order seafood that changes with the daily catch, such as crab or lobster, ask for the current price rather than relying on the general price range shown on restaurant platforms.
Ben Cang is south of central Nha Trang, so getting there takes longer than visiting restaurants around Cu Huan or Hong Bang.
Part of the appeal is being able to choose seafood directly from the tanks before it is cooked. Lobster, cuttlefish, shellfish and fish are among the options commonly mentioned. The restaurant has a large dining area and parking, which can make it easier for families or larger groups travelling by car. Average spending is around VND 180,000-450,000 per person, although ordering lobster, large crab or seafood priced by the kilogram can push the bill much higher.
Hien Khuong is another option along Nguyen Tat Thanh. It makes more sense if your day already takes you towards the southern side of Nha Trang rather than if you are looking for the closest dinner spot to the city centre.
The restaurant has live seafood tanks where diners can choose what they want before cooking. The space is generally described as open and fairly spacious. Cooking tends to stay simple, with grilling, steaming and familiar sharing dishes taking priority over elaborate presentation. That gives the meal a different feel from more formal restaurants in central Nha Trang.
The phrase "bo ke seafood" is often used for the wider riverside dining area, so it helps to distinguish that from Bo Ke Quan at 52 Cu Huan. Bo Ke Quan cụ thể tại 52 Cù Huân.
This is a good place for groups that prefer ordering several smaller dishes to share rather than putting most of the budget into one expensive seafood item.
Menu and diner photos also show dishes such as mai fish salad, grilled eel and grilled shellfish. Its Cu Huan location is easier to reach from central Nha Trang than Ben Cang or Hien Khuong, which can matter if dinner is only one part of your evening plans.
Nha Toi Seafood is a long-standing local name and is currently listed at 4 Ngo Quyen. Diner photos show lobster, grilled oysters, clams, snails and a variety of steamed and grilled seafood dishes.
The atmosphere is casual rather than formal. It suits smaller groups that care more about the food than polished restaurant surroundings.
Older reviews indicate that items such as lobster and crab may be charged at the day's market price, while other dishes have a fixed price per serving.
You may see this restaurant listed as Nina Seafood, 6 Ngo Sy Lien Seafood or Hai San Binh Dan Ngo Sy Lien. Searching by the address, 6 Ngo Sy Lien, is often the easiest way to find the right place.
The menu leans towards straightforward sharing dishes such as grilled squid, oysters with cheese, snails, shellfish, prawns and oyster porridge. The simple setting and lower price range make it a practical choice for travellers who want a casual local seafood meal rather than a full restaurant experience.

Moc Quan has more of a full-service restaurant feel than many of the casual seafood spots above. It offers table service and reservations, accepts several types of cards and has high chairs for children.
Its online menu also makes it easier to see how individual dishes are priced. Examples include jellyfish with fish sauce at VND 89,000, grilled sea urchin with scallion oil at VND 79,000 each, and tiger prawns with fish sauce at VND 69,000 per 100 g, subject to the minimum order shown on the menu. That clearer pricing, along with card payment and reservation options, can make Moc Quan easier for families and overseas visitors to plan in advance.

Nha Trang Seafoods offers a more structured restaurant experience and has an online reservation system. Its official website currently confirms the address at 46 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai and allows guests to book by date, time and party size.
The restaurant serves both live seafood and prepared dishes, including prawns, mai fish salad, oysters and sea fish.
For multi-generational families or larger groups, booking ahead and arranging dishes before arrival can make the meal much easier to organise. The restaurant also states that it accepts bank transfers and credit cards.
A plate of oysters, snails or a small starter may cost only a few tens of thousands of dong. Lobster, large crab, fish and live squid are a different matter because they are often sold by weight.
Three pricing styles are common:
| Ordering style | How it is priced | What to know |
| Fixed dishes | Per plate or serving | Easier to budget |
| Live seafoodLive seafood | Per 100 g or kilogram | Price varies by type, size and supply |
| Set menus | Per person or group | Useful for splitting costs in larger groups |
Moc Quan, for example, prices some seafood by 100 g, while individual sea urchin dishes may be charged per piece or serving. Thanh Suong offers both à la carte dishes and group combos from around VND 150,000-180,000 per person.
For lobster, crab or large whole fish, an "average price per person" from Google or an old restaurant review can be misleading. The final amount depends heavily on weight.
If keeping the bill predictable matters, fixed-price dishes and set menus are usually easier to manage than ordering several kinds of live seafood by weight.
TUI BLUE Nha Trang is located at 18 Tran Hung Dao, Nha Trang Ward, Khanh Hoa Province, giving guests a convenient base for exploring restaurants across the city.
From the hotel, seafood restaurants around Hong Bang, Ngo Quyen, Ngo Sy Lien, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai and Cu Huan are relatively easy to include in an evening around central Nha Trang.
Guests who prefer to dine at the hotel can visit Xanh Ciao restaurant on D Floor. The restaurant serves a mix of Mediterranean cuisine, traditional Nha Trang specialties and Vietnamese cuisine. Live music is currently scheduled from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

Prawns, crab, squid, shellfish, sea fish and sea urchin appear frequently across the restaurants in this guide. Thanh Suong lists categories covering prawns, crab, squid and octopus, fish, snails and shellfish. Moc Quan also has several dishes made with sea urchin and jellyfish.
There is no need to arrive with one "must-try" dish in mind. At restaurants with live tanks, it can be more interesting to see what is available that day and choose a simple preparation such as steaming or grilling.
Fixed dishes at casual restaurants may start from around VND 30,000-100,000. At larger restaurants, individual dishes can cost several hundred thousand dong, while live seafood is often charged by weight. Bo Ke Quan currently has a general range of around VND 30,000-165,000 per dish. Foody lists Nha Trang Seafoods at roughly VND 45,000-495,000.
Lobster, crab, large fish and other live seafood are harder to estimate on a per-person basis because the final price depends on weight.
Moc Quan is convenient for families that need reservations, card payments or high chairs for children. Nha Trang Seafoods also accepts advance reservations and can be easier to organise for larger groups.
For something more casual, Thanh Suong, Hanh Xuan and Bo Ke Quan all have broad enough menus for different members of the group to choose what they prefer.
Yes, at some restaurants. Ben Cang is described as allowing diners to choose live seafood from tanks before it is prepared. Photos from Bo Ke Quan also show live prawns, fish, squid, sea urchin and shellfish.
Restaurants with structured menus, such as Moc Quan, may instead list some seafood by serving, piece or 100 g.
For two or three people on a normal weekday, it is often possible to be more flexible. Booking becomes more useful for larger groups or weekend dinners.
Nha Trang Seafoods has an official online reservation form, while Moc Quan also accepts reservations. For smaller local restaurants without a formal booking system, calling ahead to check opening hours can still save time if your schedule is tight.
Cu Huan and the area north of Tran Phu Bridge include restaurants such as Hanh Xuan and Bo Ke Quan. Closer to central Nha Trang, you will find Moc Quan, Nha Toi, 6 Ngo Sy Lien Seafood and Nha Trang Seafoods.
Farther south along Nguyen Tat Thanh are Ben Cang and Hien Khuong. These are better suited to travellers who do not mind a longer journey in exchange for larger spaces or the chance to choose seafood from live tanks.
You do not need to find one restaurant labelled "the best seafood in Nha Trang" to have a good meal. Thanh Suong works well when a group wants plenty of familiar choices. Bo Ke Quan suits diners who prefer sharing several smaller plates. Ben Cang and Hien Khuong offer a different experience farther south, while Moc Quan and Nha Trang Seafoods are easier to plan when reservations and clearly priced menus matter.
The better choice is usually the restaurant that suits your group size, budget and route for the day. If seafood is sold by weight, ask for the current price before ordering. For larger groups, a set menu or pre-order can make the meal simpler and the final bill easier to manage.
